During a residency at Tonarium Lab in Poland we developed the audiovisual liveshow "Blindsight" together with Maarten Vos and Joon Kwak. Blindsight draws inspiration from the novel with the same title by Peter Watts. The book explores forms of intelligence thta exist beyond human understanding and experience. Taking this as a starting point, the performance centers on the encounter of two monoliths, two entities in relation with each other. Sometimes read as separate, sometimes as one. Moving between duality and the space between, the work invites a way of listening and looking that resists clear definition.
